That works...it'll be MUCH easier than doing another "secret" vote!

That sounds fair Susanne. I am a little afraid of Den. Harv. now after hearing all this. I grow outside and it isn't even really intermediate in the summer here--It's down right hot! Kudos to Oak Hill for their honesty. What a reputable business.
This project certainly has been interesting and a learning experience for me.

to Sherry Fehr
Place your vote, Sherry. There's a link with a picture and explanation of each plant directly under the poll box.
Don't worry, we're all here to answer any questions you may have

The latest info from Oak Hill
Here is a copy of the reply (bottom of entry) I sent to the email I got from Liese...along with her most recent reply:
Susanne,
The Dend. harveyanum just need a bit cooler nights to set buds, warm days in summer will not cause any damage to the plant... I just want you all to be happy, just so that you know that they are mainly sticks, and never get many leaves!!
Also, the Bulbo. deari are sold out,,, they are not in our 2008 catalog nor on our website that I can find... hope this doesn't cause any problems!!
The Sedirea japonica are beautiful.. the larger size are mostly in bud and bloom now, very nice big plants... the smaller ones are about half the size, about 1-2 years to bloom, depending on how fast they grow in the various growing areas.
hope this helps... feel free to give your group 2 choices if they like... however it works best for you. The Orchid Geek forum has a similar thing going this week with 4 choices, please just let us know!!

Leading right now is Den harveyanum (the 'cool' part of your description scares me a little but I'll make adjustments if needed), running very close behind is Sederia japonica and then Bulb dearei. The chosen plant will surely be one of those three.

Sue, Do we have a tie? Or does Jason's vote still not count?
