Thanks for the info Sue. It looks like my creative side is going to have to surface during this project!

Just out of curiosity, how big are the mounts usually? I have never seen a mounted orchid in person and have actually been surprised at how small these orchids actually are. Can I expect that the mounts will be equally as small?

Some of my mounts are as small as 2" x 3"...some are larger. My Den tetragonum is on a stick which is about 5 inches long.

Oh ok! I had this horrible image of a huge piece of driftwood or something that would end up taking up my entire window! I think I can work with a couple of inches.
