We discussed them a few pages back, and 3 or 4 of us really liked them, and available everywhere. Were there some issues with them?

Yes Camille, I'll be adding them in a minute...just haven't had the time or energy to do it
Sorry

Maybe more my fault! I've been only vaguely following the thread lately and didn't really read the latest posts. I've been working on my thesis, since the draft is due Monday...

Also, a question - what happens if we have the plant already? Do we still participate?

Hi Calvin...nope, not too late at all
1. Encyclia polybulbon - I'm glad you suggested this one...it sparked a memory for me of reading Camille's suggestion earlier in the thread and nothing much was done with it:
It's a wonderful little plant:

but I don't see it available in Canada
2. Laelia lundii -
IOSPE PHOTOS
It is available everywhere too!
The only reason I would hesitate on listing it is that we are trying to avoid using any genus that has already been used in prior projects. Our last project, the "Quickie" project brought us a Laelia reginae.
*As a side note: this plant was on our last big project poll and it didn't get a single vote!
3. Ancistrochilus rothschildianus! - not available

Nope, my fault totally...I was slacking off
You stick to what you're doing...your education is more important than anything we're doing here

I would have voted for it! I love it, and I forgot to get it as a travel companion...so if I remember this time...lol. The reason I didn't vote for it is because I decided to put my vote towards the one I liked out of the one's that had the most votes! You know me, I have to make things complicated...lol.

Thanks sue This is an excellent list .... and even if some of these plants don't get chosen, they've already made their way onto the wish list...this is a pretty dangerous situation...normally I can dismiss plants and say "ah I'll never get it - it's probably not available in Canada" but now that I know these are available here, there's no stopping me
