It's a fantastic little guy! I have a standard and a gigantea. Shannen (shakkai) has the most stunning standard I've ever seen! Do a search here on OB for it and take a look

however, I am a bit confused... IOSPE says medium to large, Klinge says Mini, Roelke says small, another HP variable size, and if you check the pictures in google, it does not reall look THAT LARGE, but more in the small to medium size... does anyone here has experience with this plant?

Orchidwiz says "a large, up to 24" sympodial epiphyte or lithophyte

by the way, do you know Ionopsis utricularioides http://www.orchidspecies.com/orphotd...cularoides.jpg ? a great plant!!! I know it actually fom Venezuela at above the 2000 m level.. however, IOSPE says it can grow also at sea level... Unfortunatelly, there is only one vendor (that I could find) in Europe, and currently do not have many plants... you mainly get Ionopsis paniculata, which seems to be little sister of the already little utricularioides...
I know, I am bad... I just posted it to add a new one to your wish list, Sue!

I have seen plenty of Lycaste aromatica growing and blooming in 4 inch pots, in fact I've never seen one in anything larger that a 4 inch pot...

I'm thinking maybe we should just take a chance and add this one (Lycaste aromatica) to the list...have we found it in Canada yet?
