Becca - we use Jay's as a reference .. but I would also consider someone's experience on a plant and what a vendor might say about it's size ..

the problem is whom should we trust here?

Lycaste aromatica : warm and variable
Iospe : medium to large, cool to warm

Santa Barbara : temp tolerant

Lycaste aromatica cool grower

OB: http://www.orchidboard.com/lycaste-o...-culture-sheet The deciduous species of lycaste can tolerate a wider range, up to 95 F during the day and down to 50 F at night when dormant in the winter.

Schwerter Orchideen: temperature between 15-30°C

Orchids Klinge http://www.orchids-klinge.com/galeri...=GB&groep_id=6 Miniature orchid!!!

I am getting lost here...

As sad as this is...I've already purchsed some of the ones that have been discussed and discarded...

This one for instance: Haraella odorata (retrocalla) I just bought it last week and hoping it will be here Friday!!!

So so bad!!

I imagine that when we all vote, and our choice isn't the final winner, that very choice will be a companion! Ya think?
How right you are (again)

You're not the only one lost! I've been checking for info on my favorite french forums. It's a very popular plant in France, and many people have it. Some grow it cool, some grow it intermediate, some grow it warm, and all seem fine. The most important seems to be the amount of light. As for the size, it's a compact plant that doesn't grown very quickly. With leaves it stands at about 20-40cm, but loses it's leaves in the fall until spring. So for about 4 months it's a small plant!

Hey Cowboy! if you like the Promenea... check for this one: Pagina nueva 1 Promenaea limelight x P. citrata - blühend :: Schwerter Orchideenzucht - Das Orchideen Zentrum Westfalens you find it as Limelight x citrata or citrata x Limelight, however I think the correct name should be Promenaea Meadow Gold: Promenea citrata does not exist, and I assume it is Promenea citrina (also known as xanthina) meant in this cross...

I am looking forward for my plant to bloom it just started to produce little little little buds...
