By the way...

there are many plants listed in the second section of the Revised Plant List, which were moved our of the project because of unavailability in one location or another.

They show where they're available in bold green writing...if anybody can find it in the third location, we can discuss adding it back in to the main list.

wow, that promenea is a sharp looking little plant. im not going to know which one to vote for, everyone has come up with some really interesting plants. (needless to say my wish list has gotten a bit longer!)

what about Dendrobium tetragonum? I think it's gorgeous! Might even be a travel buddy if it's not the final project plant

Bonus: it's fragrant!!! IOSPE

I'm working backwards from the canadian sites. If they have it then US and EU probably does

I don't know if this has been discussed in any of the chats, but when we come to discuss the 10 plants that we'll vote on, perhaps we should think about bloom seasons.

I just thought about this because my Den. tetragonum has just finished blooming, so it would be long wait for project plants to bloom. I love my tetragonum, its one awesome plant!! Highly recommended!

Also, if we choose a Spring flowering plant, it may be difficult to get them not in spike already...

What do you think about Lycaste aromatica? The plant is quite temp tolerant (cool to warm), great bloomer, great scence (Cinnamon), very easy to grow, and easily found at least in USA & EU (have not found it yet in Canada

)

however, I am a bit confused... IOSPE says medium to large, Klinge says Mini, Roelke says small, another HP variable size, and if you check the pictures in google, it does not reall look THAT LARGE, but more in the small to medium size... does anyone here has experience with this plant?
