LOL...I'm awaiting a new router so I can get my DSL back up and running. Should be here in an hour or so. Once that's all done, then I'll be back ...I think ...I hope ...

Doesn't dial up totally suck after high speed?

Shannon, You Rock! Do you want me to get hot links to vendors, or does it matter?

Terri, I don't think it really matters. In the past, we have just noted if the plant isn't available in certain places (Canada, Europe, etc.) Camille checked all of the ones in the main list, and I have forwarded the small list of those that we couldn't find available here.

I don't know what I'd do without DSL... well, yes, I do... I'd spend a lot more time at work! Glad to hear that you are close to having everything back to 'normal' Sue!

Shakkai- For the EU availability, I'm going through all the plants that didn't have any hits on Custom Google. I'm checking for them at the vendors that don't work in the search engine. So by tomorrow evening I should know which seem unavailable in the EU. Seems to be mainly the Bulbos that are hard to find.

Sue, it's good to have you back, even if it's with dial up! Talk about bad luck to have internet problems just when the project starts! I think I would have flung the PC out the window in utter frustration.

For the record, I haven't shopped with all these vendors, just found the plants listed with them.

Oh, and totally unrelated (I think it may grow too warm for the project?) but this gets the WTF award for the day: Andy's Orchids - Orchids Species - Bulbophyllum (Megaclinium) - purpureorhachis

Default Project 6 - Plant Discussions

Hi all...I'm back up and running again!!!

I spoke to Camille yesterday and we came to the conclusion that the 8pm est time chat doesn't necessarily work for all involved so...

I think we should have an earlier chat time scheduled in addition to the night-time chat.

If anybody is available at 2pm est, check out the chat room. Hopefully, this will allow our European friends to get into the chat aspect of the project.

We will do a summation of both chats in the forum threads.

My thanks to everybody for getting this project going while I was unavailable...it just shows, once again, that the folks here at Orchidboard are the BEST!!!

Hi Sue! I am happy to hear you are back up and running! Would the chat date be for this coming Sunday?

Edit: I just looked at the calendar, I guess I should have done that before asking...sorry! I didn't see today's chat scheduled on there before today becuase I wasn't looking for it, sorry! I can make either time. Thanks!

Today? If so I won't be able to make it as I'll still be at work.
