Thanks! That new leaf is growing pretty fast, but I feel this is a baby, and I do not think it will give me a flower this year. I have not repotted it yet.

Your plant looks nice. I forgot, what color did you get?

This is Walkeriana var. Semi-Alba X Walkeriana (no grex name given)

So the white with blue lip is crossed with the blue one. There is a picture on google search where this comes out totally blue, but I don't know. Either will be nice, but I do like Blue Catts.

It will be fun to see each one of the walkerianas bloom! We should have a really fun variety!

I fear mine will bloom in 2017 or 2018, long after this project is over.

A lot of us got smaller seedlings, and won't have flowers until that range, if we're lucky, careful, and stir the gin just right.

Mine are not going to be blooming for a few years, either, I think. This project only ends when ALL of them have bloomed. :)

I ordered the Hausermann's walkeriana var. alba 'Pendentive' AM/AOS. I was ordering a few other orchids from them that I wanted and decided...why not?

My three seedlings are pretty tiny. My 'side project' is to compare 3 very similar seedlings and see which does best, growing in 3 different styles (mounted, in a pot, or growing on top of a section of tree fern).

I think I'll do well to get blooms in 3 or 4 years.

Mine won't be blooming either, but we can talk of progress with growth and care. And one day...a bloom :)

For those who have theirs mounted, how often are you watering? Mine seems dry all the time and i have been misting the roots twice a day.

I'm watering my mount daily, unless it has been raining. It is pretty humid during summers here. So far, mine seems happy with that. It is growing new roots and a new shoot.
