Nice bloom. My Miss wonderful will be a bit as well. It is growing a new lead so I will keep my fingers crossed.
And for clarification, this is the Miss wonderful crossed with the other orchid not the Miss wonderful itself? Right?
I keep getting confused

My two Miss Wonderfuls are doing ok. One has a new growth started, the other is just sitting there.
The one looks like it is going to be a much bigger plant than I thought. One older leaf is about 10 inches long

Correct. The one I bloomed was the cross. Fred gave it as the AOS member discount.

My Miss Wonderful is in bud! Only a small sheath formed from the looks of it. My other one is growing a new lead, so no buds on that one probably till next year. Whoop!

Had to pull the sheath away because water was pooling in there. Looks like I may only get one bud.

So excited to see how it turns out @bulbofett! Keep us posted.

One of mine is still not doing anything. The other has a nicely developing new growth, but the leaf I mentioned earlier as being 10 inches long is now over a foot long ! Where ever I try to put it that darn leaf is in the way

I had the impression you had to have a orchid at least 6 months before you could have it judged. Is that not correct?
