Maybe ask Fred if he will discount the chosen plant with a secret code word for individual orders. He's still getting business he might otherwise not get.

I also got a trinae 'Cashens' and a tenebrosa aurea.

I think there are many crosses of Lc. Miss Wonderful. I was getting confused. I probably ordered the wrong one IDK It will be interesting to see everyone's blooms.

We are ordering the miss wonderful plants, there are three different ones with a different anaceps parent. You will be fine ordering any of the three, but be careful not to order the one cross that used Miss Wonderful as a parent crossed with another orchid.

I just ordered mine. I ordered 2 of the crosses just for fun. Hope I get one with spikes ....

You should be ok... they will be very close and it will be intuitive to see the difference! I dont need to buy one now, I can grow it vicariously through your updates

Well, here we go! My order was just placed... and I managed to keep it below 100 dollars!!! I ended up settling for all three of the LC. Miss Wonderful crosses (will keep the best bloom and sell the rest when they all bloom) and I also got a mini red that has a lot of coccinea in it, 12 bucks? Ill give it a try! I also bought a Martha Clarke cross that should have nice flared petals in sunset shades. Cant wait for the beauties to arrive...

Just a thought. Fred might swap out the plant if you email him before it gets shipped. Worth a try unless you still want the one you ordered.
