So if you're buying the orchids all at once to save on shipping, and then each participant would get them from you... how much would we be paying you?

Depends on the price of the plant we choose. If we choose the LC. Miss Wonderful, they are 12 dollars a piece. If we get the 10% discount knock a dollar off that. I would hope at that price I would be able to ship from my home for hopefully less than 10 dollars, that is a guesstimate though, could be more could be less. My rough estimate would be a max of 25 dollars all together, but could be as low as 20. If anyone does not want to go through me, they are more than welcome to purchase directly from Fred. I just felt that this would be the most economical way for a group of us to get cheaper plants. If anyone has other ideas let me know!

Looking forward to this project!!!

I, too, may be interested, but looking at the site the LC Miss Wonderful I only saw as a parent in a cross, not as a self. correct me if I'm wrong. It is indeed a beautiful bloom. Also, I do not do any business through pay pal. I don't have an account with them.
Also, keep in mind that if you plan on shipping out all the orchids, If lots of people sign up, that will mean you will have to have a large supply of boxes and packing material.

I'll figure something out if it takes off... I have access to boxes where I work. The Miss wonderful cross is not a selfing. It is a cross between L. Anaceps and lc. Mary's song. (from memory, may be mistaken.) Fred did three different Crosses with Mary's song with three separate anaceps plants. There is three of these Crosses on the SVO Listings page under the compact group, not the mini or the full size.

I'll think about it too... good price but frankly I don't have it at the moment; hopefully would when time to pay came. I have good luck usually with catts and would provide a different perspective than most, as i'm strictly an outdoors grower.

I might be interested. I'm involved with two of the three other projects, but I'm really enjoying myself.

My picks (hopefully I'm listing the names correctly):
Slc. California Apricot x Slc. Fire Fantasy Sunset Valley Orchids - Superior Hybrids for Orchid Enthusiasts

Sc. Wild Fire Sunset Valley Orchids - Superior Hybrids for Orchid Enthusiasts

I'm not all that fond of purple :-)

Succes with your project! To bad you can't ship accross the pond. I did a bit of Google, but can't find Miss Wonderfull overhere. But love to see what the progress of your project is going to be!

I like the Miss Wonderful, but would demur on the Wildfire, things with lots of sophronitis in them don't succeed in my climate. Perhaps there could be a couple options at the same price point?
