Clay, please post any suggestions in the current thread (in Contests & Polls....listed under "Need Suggestions")for the new project....it'll just get lost in this one since this project was completed already.
Hello How did the International 'Chid Project go? What happened to it?
The postings are entertaining read.
Hope there is something similar for now or in the future.
Glad to hear that there are to be more International orch
projects.
I live in a small Georgean town house in Exeter Devon in South West England. The orchids I have at present are large old Cymbidiums which flower intermittently, sometimes once a year then miss a year and flower in profusion the next. I also love and have a few Phalaenopsis of various colours and 'designs'. These were given to me as presents over time from my adult children.
I now intend to concentrate on sudying orchids and learn how to multiply from my small collection .I am about to get some 'egret' bulbs and am looking forward to them, though I've never grown them before. Must remember their 'proper' name. It's great ,in one's mature years to learn and study about such a beautiful thing as an orchid.
I intend to use Orchid Board as a main source for furthering my knowledge.
Thank you for being there.

Welcome to OB Claire! You'll love participating in the projects. They are such fun, and really stretch your skills and abilities. It's a great way to step outside of your comfort zone and grow something entirely different. The best thing is you'll have a whole online support group to help you with cultural tips.
