I really liked the Barkeria too...I had never seen one before, but then again...there are thousands in that category
Tik, any free shipping would be great but I think if we are all (19 so far!) going to purchase from one vendor, which is the plan...then they should see the business savvy of offering us a discount. I would think they'd find it interesting that we're involved in such a project and would want to become involved themselves.
Andy's was kind enough to give us a discount and to help us with personalized growing information and hand-picking of our Phal lobbii plants. We all appreciated it immensely and I'm sure I'll be placing future orders with Andy and Harry..

I've always loved Andy's even tho this project was my first order. They have never had a complaint in all of the boards I read and seem widely adored. Since I came to realize I want lots of tiny orchids now, Andy's will be the place I ALWAYS dream to order from :c)
Yes a discount would work wonders! Any savings would be great - especially because odds are, none of us will be ordering JUST the project orchid LOL!!

Andy's has a wonderful reputation, and deservedly so. I am not suggesting that we not consider purchasing our next project plants from them, but rather, I want to leave our options open. I had never ordered from Andy's prior to our recent order but I will definitely be ordering from them again. ![Smile](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif)
I've heard nothing but great things about them, both as a company and as people ![Smile](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif)
I have a number of plants from Exotic Orchids of Maui and their quality is also outstanding. If our members have a vendor that they would like us, as a group, to consider, the name should be posted here so I can contact the company.

I figured it was time to appear again in this thread.......It is hard for me to get to the chat to discuss plants selection (8 est is 6 pm my time - mst). That is primetime for dinner, play time and bath time!
Some great suggestions have been made that caught my eye. Here are a few choices to stir the mix or show agreement with other's suggestions:
Dendrobium parishii, secundum, senile, stratiotes or unicum.
Epidendrum pseudepidendrum.
Laelia briegeri or flava.
Oncidium ornithorhynchum or triquetrum.
Paphiopedilum - anything!
Phalaenopsis fasciata, gigantea, violacea var. coerulea or venosa.
Trichopilia tortilis.
Oncidium ornithorhynchum might be a great choice....smallish, fragrant, lots of show, intermediate conditions.

Got an answer from Exotic Orchids of Maui...they said no discount!
While keeping Andy's in mind, does anybody have another vendor they would like to order from?
EOOM won't be getting an order from me anytime soon ![Evil](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/evil.gif)

Those are all great choices! Vendors and plants.
I'll see if I can't scare something up.
