Hi Gail...
It would be great to see a pic. Go to Gallery, and then choose the CHAT PROJECT gallery. Enter it there.
How are you planning on growing it? Some of us are doing pots and others, like me, are mounting them.
Very happy to have you involved
Stop in to chat sometime

An update on how my guy is doing for the contest...First real noticable growth has started, the newest leaf (succulent thingy...I know, so eloquently put) is now coming on, with the previous leaf moving off the the side to allow the new growth to come in., so far, still real happy!

I haven't got any new growths. At least I don't think I do. But I did notice, just yesterday that it has a whole bunch of new root tips. Orangy little fellars.

And has fixed itself to grow horizontally rather than vertically.

I can take a picture of mine now but has not done much since purchase and like you Sue moving it around and trying to find the right formula, if I may. I was wondering though any thoughts out there about making a change mid-stream from medium to mount?

I had mine potted for about 2 weeks before I switched it to a cork mount. Didn't see any signs of stress from making the move.

Well, I figured no harm could be done, as it really hasn't done much. The rooting system looked really good, I was happy for that and had a small wooden basket and sphag, just like Gin's.
