Just bought one from Ten Shin who was at the Parkside,Pa. show last wkend. He had it in s/m in a plastic slatted pot. After reading my bible,Compendium of Miniature Orchid Species,it prefers cork or rough-barked hardwood rafts or baskets with little or no media. In nature they grow on the underside of large river oaks near water courses.I've put mine on cork with just a speck of moss and pointing downward and allow to dry bet. waterings. Also called Callista or Dockrillia. We'll see!

I think yours will be very happy that way. It is a crazy looking little thing, isn't it? When someone first mentioned it for the orchid project, I was not at all interested but, when I did an order with Andy's, I just threw it in because it looked as though it would win. I really like it now. :)

Interesting, I wonder if they would like a Kool-log?

:waving Don't think it's necessary.Cukes ,I've read, will appreciate a cooler nightime temp but really seem to want that rougher textured mount.Have heard they can be fussy but well worth a try!

Very nice cuke patch!

Lots of cukes and roots happening on my end of things. This is one cool little plant! I'll try to post some pictures later.
