It is just terrible how orchids are so tempting!

I have seen postings where the blooms are negligible and their fragrance is odiferous. Mine got sunburned, so I am seeing a couple of the leaves or cucumbers(?) turning yellow but also starting to see new growth. I am watering it more frequently.

They (the cucumbers) turned yellow without a warning ?

It took about three weeks. This is mounted on a small branch. It was under a skylight, okay for winter but now in spring, the light was too bright, so I moved it to another location. When the sun comes up, I'll have to take a picture.

Here's my little guy. Fell out of the pot in transit. Potted it back up, but I may choose to repot it in moss if it doesn't thrive for me in bark. It's pretty low humidity in the house.

I wasn't going to join this side project, but my pre-order vendor brought one to the show thinking I might like it. It is HUGE so of course I couldn't resist. It is mounted on a 4.5" fern slab and the roots look very good. I will likely leave it alone, but I might add moss to the back of the slab to encourage the roots to dig into the slab to reach the moss. Picture to come tomorrow.

Pictures! I am growing fond of the way it looks. I thought it was on tree fern, but it is actually on cork, which I like better. Cork retains more moisture IMHO.
