After seeing the huge difference is size, I was curious, so I measured mine. It's a single fan just under 2" high and exactly 2" wide. If it's the same clone as everyone else in the U.S. got, it'll be a while before it flowers. It'll be interesting to see. I hope I have a smaller one, because it is so cute :)

Melissa, your plant is huge! I can't get over it. It is gorgeous though.

I'm glad I ordered this. I think I love it even more after seeing it in person .

Yeah, I know they can be slow to reply. I just send them an email this weekend with a photo.
The rare times I've had issues with plants from them, it's always been plants that were new to the website, and presumably new to the nursery as well. It was potted in bark, but could see that it used to be in a sphag plug. They took the time to remove all the sphag from between the roots, but obviously it didn't adapt too well to the bark...

Oh, and in the end, I decided to unmount one of the Podangis, which was barely established on the mount. So I have one mounted and the other potted!

i have two on the old mount and mounted the other one that was lose on grape wood under a cloche.

Maybe i'll pick up another one whilst i am at the nursery just to be sure.
I saw a few other things i would like to take home like a few neostylis and some other mini's, i am running out of room on the window sill so have to do some smart shopping :D

The Tapatalk picture will stink. I hope you all can see this. This stuff, is why we quarantine...

Advice on what this bug is and what to do? I was planning to repot this plant, but am now concerned my TCs for the plant also have these on it too. I'm kind of in shock here.

or
Centipede - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

is that what it looks like?

RandomGemini 05-20-2015 03:21 PM

I only saw the back half of it before it retreated into the pot. I thought it was a centipede too, but wanted to be sure it wasn't something else. It is definitely brown. Segmented. About the same color the medium is, and my guy is potted in some very rotten moss. I was going to wait until this weekend to repot it, but I am now thinking I'm gonna take it outside and do it in oh... About five minutes. I know they don't eat plants, but I do NOT want that in my house!

RandomGemini 05-20-2015 07:18 PM

That was definitely a centipede.
So gross. I am going to repot all of the other plants I got with my podangis in fresh medium today too. Good news is, in spite of the rotting moss, the roots look great! I suspect the centipede was keeping things happy for the plant. I did not kill the bug. I released him into the planter in my front yard. He can hunt bugs to his heart's content out there.
