Project 2015 Spring [main]: Amesiella monticola

Hello everyone! I know I'm late to the party, but I just received an Amesiella Monticola from Hauserman's yesterday. I was window shopping online and fell in love with this and a phal. kaoda twinkle. I got both in spike.

I was having trouble finding care info for the Amesiella and found you all here in this project! I just spent the last couple hours reading through the whole thread and really learned a lot.

I'm a little concerned because my Amesiella doesn't have much media and dried out overnight. However, it doesn't seem to have super good drainage either. The pot only has two holes in the bottom and there is a root blocking one. I'm afraid to repot though because I don't want to lose the spike. Maybe I will place some sphag loosely in there. For now I have it sitting on a humidity tray. I ordered a humidity/temp gauge to monitor all my orchids now that the winter (heater) months are upon us.
