Great job! :bowing:banana::cheer::banana:

My spike remains in suspended animation. Hasn't grown a millimeter that I can tell but is still green and healthy looking.... Maybe if I show it the pic of yours it'll motivate it to do something lol

Thank you for your kindness. Your plant is going to open its blooms soon....just don't move it to another place. Spray it in the mornings with cool water. The mountain region of the Philippines have 50F to 60F in January/February that is conducive to its flowerings....have patience.

Woot! I put mine in the terrarium and it is finally nice and green and putting out new roots.

On a side note, I did get the companion plant to bloom. Aerangis citrata. It gave me a nice show.

shadytrake 01-14-2016 05:59 PM

Congrats, Bud!

Leafmite 01-14-2016 09:57 PM

Very nice citrata!

gngrhill 01-14-2016 11:20 PM

Very pretty, congrats

I'm making a terrarium now, so maybe I'll try one of these again sometime.

Mine has a tiny new root and a tiny new leaf, but the spike is still about a quarter inch long . Seems to be stuck there.
