Mine has a new leaf growing!

The roots and newest leaf are growing nicely. It has been in the 80's(F) with very high humidity (with intervals of rain).

Mine three. It came with a new leaf started but I can't tell if it is getting larger or not, if it is it's not that noticeable.

And mine 4... It may as well be a plastic plant, it hasn't changed one bit, for better or for worse! All the other orchids I bought as travel companions are happily doing something.

I've had definite root growth of existing roots and it 'appears' to have the start of a new leaf, time will tell though.

My plants youngest leaf has grown as well as the thicker roots, the very spindly thin ones seem to be drying out... Often happens in my growing conditions... Just waiting... As long as the thick ones continue to grow I'm happy, now that it looks like summer temps are starting I'll put it into my terrarium which has higher humidity, which I hadn't done for now... Thanks all for updating or I probably would have left her 'out' in the lounge.

:banana::banana:An update on mine: it's going crazy! Little root nubs everywhere. When I got it, it had a new little leaf started. That leaf is as big as the rest. It hasn't started a new one, but with all the roots, I'm not worried about it. This one really seems to like my conditions.

Nice, how are you growing yours?

I have it in a 3" terra cotta pot with the mini red lava rock from Repotme. It's outside on my covered west-facing porch, so it gets a bit of morning sun and bright shade the rest of the day. It's been in the 80's during the day and 60's at night. Humidity is mostly 70% or higher, other than for a few hours here and there. I've been watering every other day or so with a tiny bit of fertilizer (BetterGro) at each watering. I use Maxi-crop seaweed extract on it for a week at a time in three week intervals.

Now that I've said that, mine'll decide to kill itself off
