I got mine there, too. If you ever get a chance to go there in person, Salvadore will treat you like royalty!!!

I did look at there's and it does seem like I found a couple more I really wanted. I am trying to get it some where that I can get something on my wish list. I'm trying not to find MORE things on my list get my drift. I will take a look at them again. I have ordered from J&L before ans have been very happy with the plants so that was one reason.

It may be this one is the right one if it just has yellow in the lip as AussieVanda posted. I kind of want all white but when things bloom there may be several with some yellow who knows.

J&L looks like they have the right one.

Traveling companions are very important. I bought two Angraecums from Windswept in Time just to keep the Amesiella company.

I saw the photos of your robust healthy plants. I believe they saved all the healthy plants to the show. >.< I received a mail order of 9 plants from them last Wednesday and the condition of the plants were the worst of the worst. Tiny, rootless, and rotted. Complained about it right away and no reply.

Did you call them? I am not entirely sure these folks understand email. I sent them an email. They were one of the last to reply and I had to explain to them what OrchidBoard was and still never got an answer to my question from them.

LOL. Well, John and Sandy both replied my email. Yesterday morning John said he would investigate and I am still waiting for his final answer. I doubt he will send me replacements because 3 plants were rootless, 1 with rotted bulb, 2 with blackened base. When I opened my package I knew something was wrong because the shredded newspaper was very moist. After I unpotted them only found two plant have a decent root system, the rest were either rootless or with two or three very short roots

Good then, I will place my order. I guess if it is one that has a bit of yellow then it just is. I don't think I better count my chickens yet any how as I just may kill it before it ever blooms. And if it does live who knows if it will bloom for me any how. I'm not trying to be a downer just a realist

I am sure they will take care of it. As FYI, John is an AOS judge and is on the road A LOT for shows. Sandy is on the AOS Education Committee and travels with him. They are probably rarely at home during the spring/summer to fulfill AOS commitments. John mentioned that he sometimes judges 22 shows a year.

Not making excuses for a bad plant, but if you have a delay in reply, the above could be the reason. Hope it gets resolved soon.

My project plant comes in tomorrow after 5 days on the road. I'm crossing my fingers that they arrive okay and that Ray packed them especially nicely! Anyone have tips on acclimating plants out of a long box trip?

Don't worry plants do just fine after so much time in a box, unless they were packed really wet. For us in Europe it's frequent to have to wait 4-8 days for the package to the arrive when ordering from different EU countries and the plants never seem affected.
