I'm sure we will find a solution so everyone can take part.

Well I went with Mr. Z. You came out a bit better than I did. Carpe Diem came in 10th and Mr. Z came in 13th. It was a very strange Derby as in all three horses ran in front the whole way. All 3 had clean chests coming down the stretch. Very strange indeed [COLOR="Silver"]
I really don't have much of a favorite until after the Derby then of course I always want a triple crown winner.

Sorry, it was amesiella or walkeriana for me and it seemed like the walkeriana wasn't going to win any way so that made my mind up for me. Why not you just get the Den as seems like allot of people have already gotten it and we just can post about both. that sure would work for me because I do hate to see you not get to participate.
Any way I did it, how many others haven't?

Seems like found a solution! I like the idea of having a Den. secondary project, I was thinking of getting it anyway. I don't want to pull the Amesiella from the poll at the last minute, especially as it's in the lead...
DisaLover, would that be ok for you (assuming the Den is available) if the Amesiella wins?
I've also cross checked the participant list and votes. 2 people haven't voted yet: ChryT and Cntry. 1 person voted but is not in the official list (Dcchase), but she posted in the thread. I'm send PMs to all 3 now.
In any case, even if the remaining 2 vote for the Den and even if Dcchase didn't want to participate, we have a winner, Amesiella monticola!!!!!!

My second and third choices were Dortmund and American Pharoah (because I always cheer on Baffert's horses-- I started following these races in 97, which was his first of his 2 consectutive Derby wins.) So I did ok!!! My 4th choice was Ocho Ocho Ocho, because I really liked his sire when he was racing.
I don't follow racing much other that the triple crown and the Derby trail in the months before it.

Spring 2015 plant project: FINAL VOTE! (PARTICIPANTS ONLY)
I would be open to participating in a secondary project with any of the top five plants with disalover and anyone else that wants to participate as I just ordered the ones I do not already own last week. So if the den isn't available in SA, I also have the podangis dactyloceras coming and I already own leptotes bicolor and a cattleya walkeriana var semi-alba.

Of course my favorite one ended up with the lowest amount of votes.

I've heard so many nice things about Ray's plants! Please post pics of yours as soon as you get it! He usually has some really neat and unusual plants and I'm in love with his paphs. If I can figure out how to get my paph to start thriving, I fully intend to make an order from him.

I ordered mine :-)
I also ordered the Podangis dactyloceras. If anyone decides to start a secondary project with that one, add me. I fell in love with the flowers on this one and had to have it.
