Oh I'm jealous. I have thought these were cool for some time now. Can't wait for the pics. If we pick something to where I can get it then it will be a TC for my other one. Of course I have a few on the list

I love Den unicum! I honestly thought that had been done in a previous project and I didn't check on it. Mine is in bud currently. I killed several before I finally got the hang of it.

Maybe we can put it in the next project. Since it blooms in the spring (now), we might want to put it in a late summer/fall project so we can get blooms on the next cycle.

If not, get it as a TC plant to keep yours company on the trip!

I like Catt aclandaie, but refuse to vote for it since Camille wouldn't be able to grow it too. Still I am very happy with my choices...but man just picking five was a lot harder than I thought it would be.[/U]

I was thinking of emailing some of my favorite growers to see if they have any mature plants tucked away in a greenhouse, but not listed on their websites. I'll wait for this poll to finish first!

Well if I do get one I will have to have some tips from those of you that do grow it. I don't want to kill a few before I get the hang of it

Don't feel to bad about it Camille, I was going to say something then thought goodness, we have plenty to pick from. It was hard enough trying to decide what to vote on.

I do have a question however. Is alaorii considered a Habrolalia? I think they have maybe changed the name on some of these and so it has me a bit confused.

Will have to look up the precise list of Laelias in that group. I can't follow the endless name changes...

Camille- how many plants are going to make it to the final poll from this list or is it mainly based on the top that are available...?
