When I get my laptop back, I will add it to my list. It's looking like we can add Leptotes Bicolor to the list of plants we can get enough of. I just need to double check to be sure.

Yes, also looking good for Leptotes Bicolor! So now we have two plants to choose from so far!

Not so here, having a hard time trying to track one down.

These are the vendors that I found who used to have it. May want to check with them in email, though you probably did that.

Dark Star
Easy Orchids - their site says to email for updated lists or to inquire on a plant.

Don't sweat it on us 2 aussies though, majority rules and I'm more than happy to pick the next best as a backup plant.

We have more than enough candidate plants normally. In that case I'd prefer to strike A.citrata as well so that the Aussies are sure to join!

Heard back from two more.

We can safely add Amesiella Monticola. Ray of First Rays has offered to order in however many we need if we'd like and between his that he already has on hand and all of the other vendors that did get back to me, everyone seems to have enough in stock to go around.

So that leaves us with Amesiella Monticola, Leptotes Bicolor and Aerangis Citrata.

Also, if we do decide to strike Aerangis Citrata, Gold Country has about a thousand blooming size Cattleya Walkeriana. I don't think I mentioned that already, but Cattleya Walkeriana is super easy to find.

I am going to call the vendors who haven't emailed me back today. I am not confident there are enough of the Den Cucumerinum and the Podangis but there MIGHT be if Hausermann's and Clown Alley have a lot. I'm finding about 15 of those two available for sale in total right now.

Regarding Podangis dactyloceras. We already know that there are plenty of vendors who have it based on the number on the list. I don't think we should strike it.

I have confirmation from Orchid Web that they have 8 of the Podangis, but they sell out quick on these. It does look like we have enough of those.

So... the list of plants with enough available in the US is:

Leptotes Bicolor
Amesiella Monticola
Podangis Dactyloceras
Aerangis Citrata (possibly being stricken from the list because of lack of availability in Oz).

Den. Cucumerinum... is just a maybe. Clown Alley and Hausermann's both have them, I just have no idea how many they have because I haven't heard back from them yet and I've only found about 15 of these plants that are available for sure.

I say let's go with the list including the cucumerinum and if it is the winner, we can do the final check. If not enough by then, we can go with the 2nd place.

There were several individual small growers who had it also.

Up to Camille, though. Let's put up the poll and VOTE!!

I agree. We should just get on with it. I'll let you all know if I ever hear back from those remaining growers, but most have already closed for the weekend. I suspect there are enough of the den to go around.
