Right, I'm back! The craziness at work has calmed down somewhat, and I had a nice relaxing 4 day Easter weekend, with my mother who came up for a visit.
I started compiling all your suggestions into the first post of the thread, and as I research them they'll get get rejected (on the basis of availability, or price...) or will be kept.
Now, about stinker orchids, like the already suggsted Dendrobium cucumerinum... What are people's thoughts on potentially having a stinker as a project plant? In my case I'm open to try to new things, but if you had asked me a year ago when I still lived in my tiny little apartment, I wouldn't have wanted to have a stinky orchid in such a small space....
