Off the top of my head, mostly americans (at least 20) 4 from EU, 2 aussies,1 canadian and 1 south african.



The list will be narrowed done precisely by researching growers to suppy us... First we start by checking which sites list it Anything that can't be found easily goes off the list that eventually we poll on. Then we usually do a first poll to vote for the, say, top 5-7 orchids. Then at that step we ask growers how many they have in stock, and remove plants if necessary. Then we vote for the final project plant!

I like the podangis dactyloceras. It's on my wish list!

It's such a cutie!!! I had one some years ago, but lost it to some weird fungal disease. The blooms are so delicate looking (semi transparent), very abundant, and very long lasting despite their delicate appearance (about 2 months if my memory is correct).

This is a photo of mine, and whether or not it makes it as project plant, I'd love to get another one!

Seems like my suggestions (Den tetragonum, Phal deliciosa, Bulbo lobbii/dearei) are a bit expensive, so they'll stay out. I just want to look at one more plant.

I think we'll be able to do the first poll soon!!

Also, usually we exclude any plants that have been done in past projects. Aerangis rhodostica is one of them. But I think we can leave it in the the list, it was a project plant back in project 4 in 2007, even before I joined OB. So none of the current participants participated in that project!
