Update on my seedlings. They are doing pretty well. I can definitely say I am not a Phal expert, but I see new leaves this year so they are definitely growing. The largest Luedde-violacea plants are in 3" aircone pots. The rest are still in compot or in 2" pots.

The schilleriana grow so slow I think I must have been crazy to try from flask.

Hi Melissa! How did your velutina seedlings ended up doing? I've heard they are pretty finicky plants to grow and this thread is the only place I've been able to find any info on growing them from seedlings

Unfortunately I killed them all or I should say I loved them to death. Over watered and got a fungus.

But I did find a mature plant for sale so I went with that.

My other babies (Phals) are doing pretty well. I need to take photos.

Finally a picture. Mine are growing well this summer. I have been feeding a lot more and I have been controlling the humidity better.

This is the Phalaenopsis Luedde-violacea (violacea 'Magnificent' x lueddemanniana 'Woodlawn)

This cross was done by Norton at Orchidview! It is so vibrant!!!

Wow, how exiting. It must be so much fun to see that after so much work and time. It is really beautiful, I love that purple.
