My friend Duncan from Duncan's Flora has many lovely orchids and he takes care of each of them as if they were in his personal collection...which is amazing
The quality of his orchids is top-notch and I know anybody that orders from him will be very happy.
I call him the walking encyclopedia...he knows SO much!!!

I placed my order this morning along with a few traveling companions:
Encyclia radiata
Oncidium fuscatum
I spoke to Harry at Andy's this morning and things are OK with the fires at the moment. The winds are dying down and that should help greatly he said.
My order will ship tomorrow (as I guess they all will). I told him I was involved with the Orchid Board project and he said, if anything changed, they would call all of us.

just a quick note, I talked with Andy this morning, placed my order, he said that he knows of only 1 person to successfully grow Phal. lindii, I voted for this one but didn't know it was so difficult to grow, because it is so difficult to grow Andys does not carry them.

Thanks for the info Luckygrower. I didn't know that and I also voted for it. That's probably why it is not readily available anywhere.

Now that there is a winner, and I understand I need to place the order but is there something else I need to do to register as a participant? Should I call directly so Andy's know it is for this forum? Thanks for the direction. This is my first contest, hope I can grow this one.

Hi Linda
Nothing left to do but order the Laelia reginae.
You can mention that you are with the project but this project differs from the previous ones as there were no plans made with any particular vendor and there will be no discount applied. You can order from where ever you'd like but I think the majority of us are ordering from Andy's

Hi all, just had my CTS surgery this am. All went very well. Rt hand is still numb, & typing lefty sucks. I think I will bow out of this project even though I love the L. reginea. I'll play in the spring when I'm fully operational. I'll be following this project with interest though.
