I am so happy for you, Christian!
I got mine yesterday. . .it's a really interesting, lovely little plant.
I think I am going to leave mine in the gravel medium, for now.

Nice 'chid, Brat
What a good sister you have!
Happy birthday
I'm noticing that all of the pics being shown have much more red than mine does. I wonder what that means in the long run?

Excellent lil laelia ! Ima!
Happy Birthday Brat
Yours is very green, Sue .. perhaps just a baby ..
I love the pot you have yours in ... the blue is quite complementary
Red - I figure from light exposure ..

Sue, maybe yours was in a little more shaded spot in and amongst the others?
I think the speckled red is from sun. . .but I am just guessing. Think that's a good question for Andy or Harry?
Or maybe you received a rare alba form. . .or something similarly exciting. lolol
Edited to add: I love you tiny blue pot too. It's very cute.
Orchids are the best birthday presents! Happy Birthday, Brat!
P.S. I am posting lots of pictures in the gallery today. *big grin*

D, the blue pot is actually a tealight candle holder that I found in BigLots. I've gone and bought a few more. The 'chids I've had in them for a while are all loving it
The holes are just on the one side but they provide lots of drainage

Thanks for the birthday wishes.
I actually thought just the opposite, Dorothy....the red being the younger plant. Interesting to see which will flower first...the red or the greener one's.
