Mine arrived too with it's travelling companions. The project plant has two sheaths! The plants were all beautifully packed and the Oncidium fuscatum is in bloom with another spike coming!! Also the Encyclia radiata has a spike as well-woohoo.

I would post pictures, but the site won't let me. I have tried several times, several different ways to no avail. I have done it before, so I don't know what the trouble is. I posted about this in a different thread.

Khill, Could it be possible that you are trying to upload too big a file ? I know that was the problem when I first tried uploading and now have to use a smaller version of my photos to get them to upload...Just a thought...
Sounds like you got some really nice chids!

Laura, that's adorable!
I got mine too...but it looks different!
When I spoke to Andy a few nights ago, he told me that this species is highly variable so this project should be very interesting

khill,
I don't know what the problem would be for you with the pictures
Are you resizing them prior to uploading them?
If you're having a problem resizing, here's a really quick program I found, it gets done right online!
Resize Images online

Are you having trouble with just the gallery or with thumbnails too?
In the meantime, if you'd like a pic of oyur project plant posted, you can email it to me and I'll post it for you.

I've asked Marty to add an album to the Projects Gallery for our current "Quickie" Project

Here's Layla and her T.C. : Epi piliferum

Hi Christian,
I more than understand your disappointment... I'm having the same problems. I have been looking and looking everywhere. However today I found some things!! This website has a list of orchid vendors worldwide: The Orchid Mall - Plant Sources
and in the netherlands(check the list) 'Botanische Orchideeën Netherlands' has it ready to flower for 15€. Shipping within the NL is 5€, but I don't know if/for how much they ship elsewhere in the EU! And I don't know what sort of reputation they have. I may buy it there since I am living in the Netherlands.
If you find anything, I'd love to know!

Project 5 - Final Poll Male
Cool Project 4

Sorry to say but the Laelia R won't work for me either, so will have to wait until next time. My apt faces north and even with lights, I don't think it will perform. Cats don't - I've killed a few!

I'll catch the next project and watch the progress of P4 with great interest.
