Hey you 2! My only point should probably be tempered with "depends on where you live". Up North (you and I, Dot) should be looking to full sun. Down south (the rebels) should maybe temper the sun a bit? Harry told me to put mine out in full sun whenever I could.

Mine is with the majority of the Catts...on a shelf about 4 ft below one of the sunroof windows in the orchid room. It will also get afternoon sun coming through the side window from the west...if the sun ever comes out again

OK, what's an "orchid room?" Is this a wish we yanks have from time to time?

It's the room I had built last year for the 'chids We decided on a room that could become a regular sunroom rather than a greenhouse in case I ever decide to sell the house

here's a recent pic and the project plant is now sitting on the long shelf in the center of the first rack on the left:

I think I've got to sit this one out. I went by Jesse's the other day, looking for the project plant, and couldn't leave without an armful of 'chids. Then, today, I blew another fifty on a pair of "Bat Plants" (a black one and a white one)....I couldn't resist! They are breathtaking, almost like a huge Paphiopedilum....I'll post some pics, tomorrow. I think I spent my project money, though!

Here is a picture of my projcet plant, and according to Andy the red on the leaves is from the sun, the redder the leaves the happier the plant.

I was waiting on a reginae from a local supplier who was sure he'd have one for me by today. Didn't happen, he couldn't get it.

Is it too late for me to start looking for this and order it on the web? I see everyone on this forum purchases a lot from Andy's where I'll check out first. My conditions aren't ideal for a lot of progress during this time of year because of the shift in the sun (north/east exposure on patio) but this isn't a contest, is it? And if I lose, I'm still left with a consolation prize.

Assuming there's still time and I'm still in the project, should I go ahead and place my order tomorrow?

I need you guys to enable me to get 'just one more.'
