Thanks.-Denise

Hi Denise, I believe that the next project won't be till the spring. If you would like to join project 5 I don't see why you couldn't. Just ask Sue (Cb977) to add you to the list and get the plant from the vendor of your choice. I used Andy's

Hi Denise
You can still participate in our current Quickie Project...
the chosen plant is Laelia reginae. Most of us ordered from Andy's but you can get it from any vendor of your choosing.

If you'd like to wait until spring when we're going to have OB's Project #6, our calendar has March 3 set up as a starting point for discussions. That project will takes a few weeks to finalize, many more people from all around the world will be involved.

Let me know if you're going to join us in the Laelia project and I'll add your name to the list.

In the meantime, here is a link to most of the threads that we've accumulated during our prior projects.
It's always a blast! I look forward to having you join us

I have the Den. lanyaiae which looks a lot like the unicum. In fact it has a really fat bud on it.

I just added this one to my WOC list. I'm thinking of pre-ordering it from one of the vendors coming to Miami for the show in January! I like it! Looking forward to seeing pics of yours

Thanks Ross, that is something to think about. I figured that resting periods for those plants that go through it in nature were necessary to maintain the overall health of the plant.

The reason I say this is that you might not want to turn down a plant that is supposed to go through a supposed-dormancy just because that would be a problem for you. The "winter rest" might not be required for bloom and also might not be encouraged with a smallish plant that you want to grow bigger in the first place. Just think about it.
