Sophronitis cernua (Project 14 - Spring 2012)

Mine is currently teasing me. The new leaf is part open, and has been for a while! I've been away 4 days and was hoping all would be revealed when I got back, but it's still about 1/3 closed.

I'll be very surprised if it's hiding buds, but I can't help thinking it being slow to open is a good sign? Probably not, but it's looking like a few more days till I know for sure!

Meanwhile I think I'm going to have to take it out of the cute 'greacian urn' style yoghurt pot it's in. It just doesn't seem to dry out well, and I've lost another of the newer roots. Or maybe I'll keep it in there, but change the seedling mix it's got to some big chunky phal bark?
