Thanks Bud, I particularly looked for a mounted one. I hope I can get it to grow a new growth and keep the roots in good condition.. Camille it's from Elsner.

My Soph isn't doing anything, but that's no surprise considering the abuse it went through. I've been spraying the top of the substrate everyday since it dries out very fast and I've also gotten some extra lights for it. Let's see if it'll do or die. If it dies I know whom to blame - a certain idiot armed with a pair of scissors. I wonder who this mysterious person could be?

I totally agree. I'm very satisfied with all the plants I got from her; no major mechanical damages (barely any minor as a matter of fact), good root systems and well established plants. I regret I didn't order my project plant and the Phal. stuartiana from her, but now I know better.

Hi Mutant- Your plant probably is adjusting from being taken off its mount. In my experience orchids can have a hard time after being removed from their mount especially if the plants roots were attached well. That's more likely than from the leaves being cut off. Just give it time, good light, and keep misting it. It will start to grow.
