I guess nature has balanced the more compact growth with the smaller flowers. I'm starting to think I ordered the wrong bulbo, but I will reserve judgement for when it eventually flowers.

It was definitely not that low last time I checked - otherwise I would've definitely ordered some goodies from Schwerter. I would imagine they have to send to Ireland via airmail. If they didn't it would have to go to the UK and then maybe by ferry to Ireland which would take ages and result in dead, or nearly dead, plants.
