Although I'm not part of this project any more, I just wanted to tell you guys that the cernua is liking living with my friend and is working on three new growths and plenty of new roots as we speak.

Very nice everyone! Maybe mine will bloom soon, but always seems others post pics of seasonal blooms before mine even begin to think about producing spikes, lol... We'll see if that pattern holds true for this one.

Haven't kept up here, and haven't posted anything since just after I got my plant. Sorry for that, but figured I'd update mine as I slowly read through other's posts. I put it outside right after I got it, but it really got nibbled on by something, and it got set back quite a bit. But finally after about 2-3 months of nothing, it's perked back up a bit, and has thrown a new leaf. It like's the indoor growhouse much better...
I do like all the pictures I've been seeing of others. Maybe this will be the first project plant to survive?

Everyone's soph seems to be doing great. I only have one new growth and it is growing very, very slowly. No idea if it plans to bloom at this point.

Two newly opened blooms
I have two spikes .... one spike have two newly opened flowers and two buds.... the other spike have six buds .... I will post a thread when all these buds have opened....
* I am worried about some of the roots: they are turning darker and darker almost black as if there is a bacterial infestation(or it might be algae); the plant and the leaves are not affected by the darkened roots....maybe after the blooms I will nuke it with phyton....

Nice flowers, Bud!
My first 2 flowers were just starting to open on Friday, but I have been away visiting family for Canada's thanksgiving. Will be home tomorrow and hopefully have time for photos.

Nice blooms Bud, and your plant is so large! My plant is being very annoying, the new leaves still haven't split open. Looks like they haven't done a thing in the past 10 days!
