Hey Janice, we're all still here. But these are slow growers, so it's tough to give a day by day update. I'm still waiting on a new growth, as all I seem to be getting is roots (not that I'm complaining). Did you get yours from Al Pickrel? That looks exactly like mine.

Yep and I got another one also and mounted that one. Both look good. Thanks for writing; I was getting the idea that everyone left! LOL

Yeah. Nothing to report here. It's been outside for a few weeks and not really doing much yet that I can tell. I will say that size wise, this is my favorite project plant yet!

Nothing to report here either, just lots of happily growing roots. And I STILL haven't repotted it... I think my procrastination comes from the fact that I'm not really sure what to pot it in. True they prefer mounts, but I know that I don't good with mounts. So what medium do you guys think would be best? Also, clay pot or plastic pot? Or maybe I'll do netpot that I slip into a plastic pot. hmmm.....

Hi Camille, glad to hear yours is well. I figure if these really like mounting, I'll stick with an uber quick draining medium. I left mine in the pot Al Pickrel sent (tiny 2-2.5" clay pot). I potted it up in some bark mixed with LECA. Holds about a day or two of water. I just spray it with water every morning when I spray my mounts.

I have all the ingredients (tiny clay pot, bark, leca) so maybe I could try like that as well. I also spritz mine every morning, since I'm so afraid of overwatering in sphag. My other litle Soph (mantiqueira) that I got as a TC came potted in lava rock, and it seems to be doing quite well that way, also with a daily spritz.

Gee, glad everyone came out to play! Sounds like we are all having fun. One question though, what is "LECA"?
