You also don't get a tracking number from Popow, and they don't deliver to your home I think, which they do when you pay the more expensive price.

Schwerter always sends their packages as "premium", maybe that's why I get them so quickly - they're usually never stuck in Germany for long, which all the other packages with tracking numbers have been, so the premium delivery must mean they ship by air. :nod:

Now to the project plant; I've gotten my extra lights now so Mr Soph and one of my Paphs are sharing it. And MAN, does it shine! I think I'll need sunglasses when going in to the kitchen next time. :cool:

My sophie is doing really well, growing roots all over and starting to attach to the cork mount. I don't have any sphag moss backing but humidity is about 60% and I mist almost every day. Roots are plump. I will post photos....one day...

I got my plants potted on Sunday, and I thought you'd like to see pictures. The roots aren't the prettiest: looks like a few past healed breaks (and I think I added some more!) but there seems plenty of healthy ones!

I'd been on a search for suitable pots, and ended up raiding the supermarket for individual yoghurts. As soon as I spotted these particular ones I knew it had to be... I used seedling mix, and I ended up potting it slightly proud of the medium, Sedirea style, which I hope it will like.

On the contrary, those are very nice roots! Is that a yogurt pot it's sitting in? Very cute, the round shape suits it well.

Thsoe are great roots! Much better/more than mine had.

I got my TC box today!! :) I had ordered at the same time as the project plant order, but since my payment didn't go through right away the plants got only got shipped yesterday. Love next day delivery in the Netherlands! :)

Anyway, I got another Soph (S.mantiqueira), which is so tiny and cute, and growing 3 new growths. It's very similar to cernua culture wise. Should bloom within 18 months. I sort of think of it as project plant bis, since they are so similar looking!I also got Phal parishii and Gastrochilus japonicus.

Rik is so kind, he tossed in 2 freebies. Another Phal parishii and a healthy little mystery Phal that looks like it was a keiki. I sent him an email to get the name of it. I love this grower, his plants are always perfect. Never a blemish, never a rotten root.

Rowan, your plant is a good looking one for sure! I don't even have one pbulb with two leaves and you have one with three!

I think bulbs with multiple leaves are only the very very young ones, back from it's seedling days. At least its the case on mine. Mature plants are always unifoliate.
