I missed your post Ramon, very nice Bulbos! They look like they'll be very happy the way you've potted them. And life in the GH will definitely be great for them!

Interesting! I thought anything on the mainland wouldn't need to go via airmail. I guess I'm a little bit clueless about this stuff.

I might be wrong though, but don't know why Mutant would get hers just as quickly as us on the mainland. Also, I often order from Popow in Germany. He sends by DHL, but it's only 9€, and slower. Which is why I assume the more expensive DHLpaket is airmail.

Here is the picture of the root I was talking about. Im thinking its just stained from the media that J&L used. Its firm to the touch so its not rotted.

It looks fine to me. I have roots that look like that too on some plants. It could be from the medium, algae, or it has just turned green from the light. I'm not sure but if they are firm they should be fine.

you have a neat mount, Josh...I see some of the roots are guided to the holes... good root system...some discolored by decaying media...no algae at all...the bulbs and leaves are plump

Yea, I ran some of the longer ones inside the mount as they really wouldnt wrap around it very easy. I really like the cholla wood as its literally like mini bark. Its been taking around a day and a half for it to dry out and need more water.

I've since mounted a Phal. violacea hybrid to it and its going to work perfect. I could never keep it moist yet provide the airflow that it wanted so on the mount it went.
