My Soph is so tiny!!! Much smaller than my previous one. I'll take+post pics after work.

But I think I will do like Janice and Bud, and get a second plant! Great excuse to order from Elsner., and I'll have a blooming size Soph.

Mine's here too!

Not opened yet, as I'm in a bit of a mess! Last night I think I found active scale on a plant... I was planning on spending this afternoon spraying and sorting out quarenteen areas. So now I'm a mad scramble! I think I'm going to have to have a bath before unpacking so the new plants can then go in the bath for now...

Update and pics this evening I think!

Cool that you also got your plants!!!

Ramon, I think you said that it would be best to pot little Soph cernua in sphag? It came somewhat well established in a tight wad of sphag, but I removed that. I have sphag and also a seedling bark mix on hand. I don't know which would be best. since I don't have net pots, it will go into a small 'fromage blanc' pot!

Camille, I recommended sphag in case you need to root the plant. If yours is already rooted and stablished you can proceed differently... However, very often Sphag is also used and recommended for seedlings, as it prevents fungal infections and keep higher humidity around them...

I have a cernua planted in sphag in a clay pot. It has a packing peanut in the bottom of the pot and the moss is packed loosely. I have grown it like this for like three or four years and it does really well.

Unpacked, all alive. Generally smaller than I expected, though I think they are as described: there's just a couple I thought would be bigger plants. The picta is larger than expected though, I think it had 5-6 pulbs, though very small ones: much the same size as the ones on my variablis. I was sort of expecting 1 or 2 tiny pulbs, so that's a nice surprise.

More later... late for work!

I'm not sure I understood properly. Do you take a bath with your plants ? or do they go in the bath after you?
I can't wait to see pics indeed
