Sorry for the late reply on this. It appears I'm incredibly behind (40 pages, seriously?). Anyway, here is mine that I got from Al Pickrel. It's smaller than some of the ones I've been seeing here (2" pot), but I didn't want to be bidding against anyone on eBay. Plus, Al's always got some great Phals that I can pick up as TCs. Looking forward to growing this out with the help of everyone else's experiences.

Actually yours is pretty much the same size as everyone else's. These guys are small plants and are blooming size. Did you read all 40 pages? You might as well read a novel!

Default The trip from hell...

After being shipped from Georgia to Oregon to California and finally back to Oregon (can I get a big round of applause for the USPS...oh the reliability...); my box which was due in last Wednesday arrived in the post this afternoon... They're all a wee bit dry, but the roots look great and I know they'll perk up in the morning when I hit them with some mist. Soph. cernua is at center stage, TCs surrounding.

LOL. No, sadly I'm not on vacation or getting a rest! Just excessively busy at work and with my workout schedule afterward, so when I get home I forget to do things I meant to do.....
Things should be calming down at work soon, but then I'll be busy packing all my things to move the first weekend of June.

As for my package, I have no clue what's going on! The tracking updated again, saying that yesterday I wasn't home when they tried to deliver. I don't think they ever came, because in that case they leave a paper with login info to reschedule delivery on internet. Personally I think that the new mailman is too lazy to come up to the 20th floor and simply pretends to deliver so he can just leave the package at the post office....

oh man... maybe it is like here... last time the mailman came and was leaving a note for me to go to the Post office to pick my package "as I was not at home" when they wanted to deliver... unfortunately for him, I was in the garden and saw him.. when asked for the package, he became pretty confused and nervous... the fact is that he did not bring the package with him at all because "it was too big" (Hey, he was driving a truck and the package was not big at all!)... a complain letter went from my side directly to DHL... plus a message to the vendor to complain on their side as well!

In my case it's not DHL that delivers but PostNL (equivalent of La Poste) DHL hands off the package to them. They used to be really good about deliveries, but ever since the budget cuts last year getting packages is a nightmare!

Here is the same case, Camille. DHL hands-off to Colissimo, but since the package was sent via DHL, I complained with them... At the end, it's their service...
