Will post when finished. Thanking you in advance.

2 project plants? Now why didn't I think of that, it's a prefect excuse to order from yet another grower! You're brilliant!

I know, that is such a good idea! I was going to order from Andy's too so my package had a TC package but I just planned a trip to San Diego with my Mom in June! We are going to visit Andy's, SVO, and any other nurseries around so I am going to wait and save my money so I can pick out my own plants! I'm so excited!

Default California Bound!

Wow! That will be a fantastic trip. Maybe you could go to the Santa Barbara Orchid Nursery. That would be quite the place to visit also. You WILL be taking and posting pictures I am sure! LOL You only have a month to go. Who will watch your orchids? Do you board them? That's my problem. With the horses, dog, cats, plants, etc.....

We went to the Santa Barbara Orchid Estate international fair last year. It was really fun. We visited the nursery too. We were thinking of going to that again this year but decided to go to San Diego instead. My dog will go stay with my Dad. We did have horses but our last horse died early this year. She was 30 years old. It was really sad. We had her for over 15 years. Last year I watered my orchids right before we left and they did fine. So I will probably do that again this time. If I can't I will have to think of something! I will be gone from Sunday to Friday so they should be okay. I almost would rather them be a little thirsty than have someone take care of them that doesn't know what they are doing! But I could find someone to water if I have too.

Default Water and vacation

Wow, sounds wonderful to me. We were out in California years ago when my husband was traveling for Air Products and Chemicals and I was a Principal of a Middle School and took some vacation in the summer and oh, how I enjoyed myself. What a beautiful state. Of course, lots of things to do and see and the flowers....gee...I could just stand and stare and then go back and stand and stare again! LOL

Where's your parcel Camille?

Mine's still at 60%, which if I'm reading it correctly means it's been checked in at Koln (that's where they say...) airport, but not yet checked out at whatever airport it's arriving at. So could be anywhere between in a stack of boxes waiting or on a plane!

Re visiting nurseries: something I'm getting very tempted to do at some time! I don't have a car though, so could get interesting getting to them!

Hope you have a good time! And would love to see pics!

Me too, I'd love to do it some time! But my favorite grower is totally inaccessible by public transport (quite a rare thing in this country). The bus drops off nearly an hour's walk short of the place. There is one grower easy to get to, but his plants are expensive and not as nice quality. But the private collection is well worth the visit I've heard.

Seems that there will be no package today. Went from the airport to the local distribution center overnight, and it seems to be just sitting there today. Sucks to know that my babies are only an hour away but I can't have them!
