for the european..

Sophronitis cernua
MSB Orchids has very nice plants and a bit cheaper than other vendors... however, if you want to add some TCs, these should most probably be in the Cattleya alliance (they also has other plants, but Cattleyas & Co are their strength!)... nevertheless, not a bad idea to have a look over there... (P.S._ I received confirmation a pre-order is already there, so... on cernua is joining the package... no matter whether cernua wins or not, I love this species and would not mind adding another plant)

Bulbo. lobbii
Schwerter has both lobbii and sumatranum at good price (and lots of great TCs!), and also a very nice clon of Bulbo. sumatranum with pretty red flowers (but for 29€!) PS._ I had to order some baskets from them, so I added a lobbii and sumatranum as well whether they win or not, I only needed an excuse to add them to my collection...
Orchids&More was mentionned before here. They have several forms of lobbii and sumatranum, as well as S. cernua (and lots of nice TCs as well)... P.S._ no I am not ordering anything from them now

LOL, I wonder why you even bothered to vote! But I may do the same thing and get the Soph and both Bulbos!

I know Camille... some of us are just "Orchids sick" LOL and it seems you are not so far from me on that

BUT I must admit I set priorities first! I went through all vendors I know, checked who had the best baskets (quality/Price and right sizes), and based on that I placed my order and added the TCs to the basket... including as well two Dendrobium lawesii - even though they did not made it to the final poll

These projects are just dangerous! And a perfect excuse to buy more orchids. I was thinking of getting an Angraecum didieri too, which also did not make the final poll.

I've already gone and purchased the two plants I suggested. The Den trantuanii and peguanum. They didn't make the cut, but I liked them so much I just had to have them!

Once we know the winner, can we get a list of all the known vendors for a plant, both in and out of price range?

Still 9 people to vote, and they could theoretically still change the outcome

Which reminds me, I had an idea for a future project of a different kind. I wondered if people would be interested in getting young plants of a new hybrid and raising them? Personally I have a Brassostele (I think!) Senne Stern seed-grown young plant, and I love it that I may have something totally unique and fabulous. It's going to be so exciting when it flowers (if it does! LOL) I guess it would have to be region by region (unless we happen to find two sellers who just happen to be trying the same cross!) Anyone?
That sounds like a great idea. It would have to go by region like Camille said though. It gets. Me excited though! But we shouldn't discuss it in this thread or this thread will explode!
