Hi, thanks for the information. No problem with the voting. I'll just be happy to be "in with the sign-ups"!

I think it's fine to sign up, just you ain't meant to vote *G*
I'm sure it will work out fine just as long as we know you've voted! You might want to say what for. (And if you recomended a plant in the thread before voting started maybe that counts as a sign up? You'll have to wait for Camille to get back for the official line on that though!)

No problem with the "not voting". LOL I am so new that I probably don't know what I would be voting for anyway! LOLOLOLOL I am just so excited to be in this group and looking so forward to learning a lot of good things. Take a look at my picture with my name Janice and this is the way my orchids appear right now. I am trying to get up to speed with my collection.

I voted based on what I thought was pretty so no worries on being a newbie. I will figure it out when I get it. Vote! It's all part of the fun of it!

Sorry, I was aiming that at Orchidsarefun, who has already voted. I think it's probably better to stick to the rules on the whole and not vote if you weren't signed up by the deadline. There's enough mess for Camille to sort out when she gets back as it is!
Anyone not definitly officially signed who's voted by accident should say they have, and what they've voted for, so their votes can be taken off if needed.

Why shouldn't latecomers vote while the poll is still open? It's not like it'll upset some kind of delicate balance or something... Since the vote is supposed to be a poll of which plant participating members want to grow, IMO anyone who actually plans to participate should have a say in the selection.

I don't see why you shouldn't vote. Just list what you voted for and let Camille know you voted. Then she can decide to count them or not. We had an April 2 deadline for plant suggestions and yet new ones were accepted until April 4. I can't see how if you identified the plants and followed the voting rules of selecting just five how it would cause any trouble. Go for it!
