I thought Aerangis lueto-alba wasn't fragrant until I looked at the description on Jay Pfahl's website. Does anyone have one of these to confirm this? If this is truly fragrant, the Aerangis is looking better to me already.

With 16 votes left (including mine) it could still be a close race. Even C interedia and my first choice still have a chance!!!!!
Areangis is holding his own while the masde has made a move on the leptotes. Nodosa has surged and caught the cattleya. With eleven votes remaining all others (including my top choice are out of the running.)

Will Ms Mas continue her run on Area or will she lose her stride?

Will all the remaining voters vote on one of the trailers and cause a tie and a runoff with Area?

Will IdahoOrchid wait until the very end to play the spoiler?

Only time will tell.

And the biggest question of all: Why didn't I get an update email for this thread?

Aerangis luteo alba has a faint fragrance, while B nodosa and perrinii are stronger.

Here's an example of a well-grown nodosa. With a vanilla ice cream fragance, it's a beauty.

Joanna, that's the most beautiful nodosa I've ever seen!
I have quite some time to wait before mine gets that big!

Mr. Catapano, I'm in the process of finding a source here that can supply all 7 of us. I've sent you a message, and I will update you again once things are confirmed.

Have a great holiday!!

Not as colourful a commentary as Steven, but now with 11 votes still to be cast:

1. Aerangis rhodosticta - still in the lead

2. Masdevallia infracta - needs 5 to tie, 6 to win
3. Leptotes bicolor - needs 6 to tie, 7 to win

Still a possibility if ALL remaining votes are cast for one of these:

Brassavola nodosa - all 11 to tie
Cattleya intermedia -all 11 to tie

This is almost as exciting as a close horse race:
We have Aerangis rhodosticta in the lead with Masdevallia infracta coming up on the outside two length back is Leptotes bicolor then theres Brassavola nodosa, Cattleya intermedia running nose to nose and bring up the rear is Laelia pumila Brassavola perrinii and Bletilla striata. Oh what this looks like Laelia lundii and Dendrobium chrysotoxum haven't left the starting gate. May lame attempt at humor!
