Just ordered my little Aerangis!
Only one TC:
"Dracula hirsuta (red form)
Originates in Ecuador in the wet montane forest at elevations of 4800 feet. Adapts to warm to cool temperatures. Blooming size plant in 4 inch basket , $40".
I never did see a shipping charge. . .guess, I'll find out here pretty soon.
Yesterday I found one of the big 18 x 18 x 24 tall, Exo Terrariums & a light. Muyha ha ha.
I'll be ready for that orchid delivery!!! I am having them shipped to work.

Looks like the shipping on my two will be in the 15.00 range.
That's not too much. . .if they're packed well.

With the previous project, I was amazed at the quality of the plants, but also how well they were packed.

Hey Sue, did you notice the Laelia we ordered is already sold out? Hope I was one of the lucky ones to get it as I haven't gotten my confirmation yet. It sure has a pretty flower. Can't wait to see it in person.

Where to buy OBproject #4
Sorry, I'm new to the OB and joined the OB project but I didn't get any info on where to buy the project orchid or what the project is about. Is there somewhere in the contest-Poll forum to look? Let me know Thanks

Hi Phallgirl! The info that you need is (or at least was!) in the original thread 'Who's ready for a new OB project'.
I just checked it and it seems like we've lost a number of the last pages....
Just hold on a little bit, and I'm sure thing will become more clear - the supplier for the project plant is all sorted out and a number of plants are reserved, so don't worry!

Got this email from Tom at Parkside today:
Dear Orchidboard participants:
Thanks for choosing Parkside for this next Orchidboard project. We are happy to hear from each of you. If your order has been received before noon today - Thursday, August 02, 2007 - then we plan to ship your plants on Monday, Aug. 6th. Expect them to arrive in a couple of days. Let us know if there are any delays or problems.
Good Luck!
Tom @ Parkside
I forgot to mention that some of our best plants are mounted. If you would prefer a mounted plant, just let us know before we ship on Monday.
Thanks,
Tom @ Parkside
