OK! So here are the options so far for those of us in Europe:
Bloom size plants (just finished flowering) mounted on cork for €20 - possible discount, not confirmed. (They were willing to give a discount on the Leptotes from €15 to €10.) from Orchideen Wubben
or
Near bloom size plant potted (5,5 cm pot) for €7,95 each from Schwerter Orchideenzucht
Preferences, anyone?

Hi shakkai
I think getting Blooming Size plants is more important than whether they're mounted or not. If they're available in pots, it's only better because people will have the option of doing what they want to with them.
All of us starting at BS is the imprtant part, so we all start at approximately the same stage.

I just emailed Hoosier to see if they can accommodate us, they're closed on Monday so I won't have an answer right away.
I also re-emailed Tom at Parkside to get some more details.
I'll post something when I get responses.

Oak Hill
Sue,
I did talk to Greg this weekend and he thought he might have enough in stock for the project. He's driving back to Chicago as I write this but, you might consider checking with him later this week.

I love Oak Hill but they only have them mounted and we're trying to avoid that.
Thanks for the info

Phil, So do I - the ordering is easier. I have asked via email how near to bloom size the plants are. If they are large enough to be able to flower this coming season, I would be happy to go with them. (Though I will grow mine mounted on cork in the end.)
As we have 3 members of the project from Germany (and only 1 in each of the other countries) it probably makes sense to use a German supplier.
We will go with Guido as long as it doesn't throw us too far out from the US and Canadian members. You can go and see the plants, can't you?

Update:
Tricho is back! and voted for Aerangis rhodosticta.
Shakkai, maybe you should make contact as it'll be another one on your European order.
Some information for everybody involved:
I've been doing a lot of reading on this plant (also see IdahoOrchids thread on hints for the plant http://www.orchidboard.com/community...-proj-4-a.html ) and everything I've read says that this plant does best mounted.
Something to think about...
