Remember folks...these are due for a slight winter rest from watering. A winter reduction in water is what the books call for on the Angcm scottianum...

OMG!! Don't scare me Sue! I don't like orchids that need to rest. I don't like having to change water schedules! I currently myst it twice everyday. its usally very dry by the time I myst it again.

Ok, Tin... what I've read is that MOST Angcm need a SLIGHT watering rest for winter. I just looked up ours, specifically, and it doesn't say anything so I guess we water straight through...anybody else have some input on this?

I let most of my plants get dryer in the winter to avoid rot and fungal problems. Also the heater helps dry things out.....
