How about Gomesa crispa or Gomesa recurva? These are nice plants and are fragrant. Cool to intermediate. Not very big about 10" tall. Pretty easy to grow.

Unfortunately Gomesa recurva is not listed by any Canadian vendor that I have been able to find.
