Dare I mention any that start with the letter D? Like Den. chrysotoxum or Den. chrystyanum.

I tried dendrobium and failed miserably. Put up buds and just sat there. Took it to a friends greenhouse, put out flowers, took it home and the flowers immediately dropped. Stayed in flower only long enough to get a picture.

I wonder what it is about Dens that cause people to have so much trouble with them. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones because I barely have to do anything and they thrive down here. There are many other folks who they don't do well for and I'd love to figure out the "why" of it.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the FL in your location!!!! I guess if I had a greenhouse to simulate that location.......
